In development mode, when I open my main vi, a subvi always open as well.  What can cause that?

Maybe your subVI is set to "show front panel when called" from its vi properties..?

It is likely the Show Front Panel When Loaded property.  It can be found in the Window Appearance of the VI Properties (you will need to use the "customize" button in order to actually find the property).

show front panel when loaded is it.  It was greyed out, so I wasn't aware of it.  Thanks!
