string to number conversion

Hi mathan,

that's really a weird mix of conversion to U8... See attachment!
Here's the block diagram:


It's not very efficient, but can also convert slightly different strings too...

I think you cannot get the output with commas for U8 values, because U8 is a numeric format, not a string.
