start and stop button

Hi,

We have created a vi that plots multiple lines by reading the values from a text file. How can we use a start button to start the process, a stop button to stop the program and also a rest button which clears the lines from the picture. I think i will have to use event or case structures but i am totally new to these functions.

I've made an example for you. But I recommend that you take a look on labview examples (in your labview pack) in order to learn a little bit for your self.

The code was made on Labview 8.2.
