Hello Altenbach,

Thanks for the VI however my requirement of staircase is more complicated. I want control over the voltage amplitude of the cycle even though the vertical voltage steps would be equal. Also I  want control over the time extent of 1 cycle . For example I may want to modify what you have given to work for voltage amplitude (-2 to 2 volts) with 68 steps with the horizontal time step = 0.1 second (for complete cycle i.e all 68 steps). Then i should also be able to have as many cycles as I want.

My code would just need a few trivial modifications. Have you tried? How far did you get?
