software issue

Good day!

I am running a thermocouple to usb NI device from my coffee roaster to my software.   M/N cDAQ-9171

Yesterday, some interruptions in the power made our power flicker many times.

Today I have an error code as I try to open my software.

 An error occurred in mig software. Please contact NI for technical support

Task name: cDAQ1mod1

status code: 229771

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Was it actually -229771?

229771 is undefined in my LabVIEW installation.

That message tells you that you need to contact NI.  It sounds like a serious problem within the hardware.  You might have to send them the hardware for repair or replacement.

Indeed, this looks serious. Even my NI device monitor is telling me "no devices detected".

Do you know the steps for sending for repair or replacing?

Yes.  Contact NI for support.  (While this is the official NI LV forum, it's still community-based, and not the official avenue for NI support.)
