Did you mean:

sloping text

I need to label the columns of an array of round booleans. I'd like to bave the text slope at 45 deg so that you can read it easily.

Yours Sincerely

If the labels are static, easies would be to create an image containig the labels using a graphics program. Then import the image to the front panel.

I agree with Altenbach on this suggestion.

If they are not static, I can only offer a clue.

In this link you will find a VI that will apply a mask to an image to allow for transparency.

Elsewhere on this exchange there is an example that shows you how to rotate an image in a picture control.

The idea would be to use a picture control, insert some rotated text to provide the sloping text.

The complicated part is that the "off-the-shelf" functions for inserting images into pictures work with recangular regions.

The sloping text will require replacing a parallelogram from one image into another.

Betwe
en the;
1) Picture control
2) Insert text
3) Rotate bitmap
4) apply a mask

there appears to be the elemnets that are required to crack the nut you are after.

I appreciate you sharing your results of the "scroll-wheel". I hope you will do the same if you figure out this challenge.

Please keep us posted.
