Hi Victor,

Have you tried Craig's idea?

It seems to me that it should give you the slope of the line that represents the major axis of your elipse (provided, it is an elipse, and the slope of the axis is not zero or infinity).

Try ploting the linear fit on the same XY graph.

Please re-post if this does not work.
