simple control

Hi, I´m trying to do a simple control. My problem is: I have an input signal, and I want to see, when the signal reaches a predefined value. If the value is reach, then I want to give a digital sign as an output (turn on a LED). I have made a few tries with the DAQ-Assistent, but my problem is, that I cannot give any signal out, while I´m reading.

I hope someone has some tips to give me!
