scxi problem

I'm going nuts trying to figure this out. I'm new to Labview and NiDaq. I
have a P200 running Win 95, an at-mio-16-e2 board, Labview 5.1, nidaq 6.5
and a scxi 1000 with 1 1161, 2 1121 and 1 1120 modules. If I use the simple
analog in vi to get data from one channel I get what I expect. If I use a
multi channel input vi I get expectd data on the first channel in the list
but the subsequent channels are all at -10 volts. All of the gains are set
to 1 by the jumpers and in the channel wizard. The channel wizard sees the
scxi 1000. It seems like the board is not multiplexing the scxi modules. If
I build a vi with parelell loops and aquire data from different channels I
can get the expectd data from them. What am I doing wrong??

I love my SCXI's, but they can be a little tricky to set up the first few
times. I would suggest very carefully checking the channel input strings to
the AI Start vi.

Ex : Ob0! SC1! MD1! 0:4

Also make sure that the modules are configured properly in NI-DAQ.
Unless you are an advanced SCXI guy, use multiplexed mode rather than
direct.

Good Luck and don't give up.

I got it working. I feel a bit stupid because it turned out to be a simple
solution. The module connected to the at mio 16 board is THE one the cable
is connected to not A module in the chassis. Thanks for you responce.
