save excel file error

Dear all ,

I built a application and run it on  a non-labview development computer ( only run time engine installed plus others but not the development environment).  This computer is an Windows 2000 machine with Excel 2000 on it.
But this application can not auto-saving excel file and come out a error -2146959355 (see attach file )

I developed the program on a Windows XP machine.  This computer has Excel 2002, .  I can run my built application on the windows xp machine just fine.

I included excel dynamic llbs as dynamic and support files when built a application .

Who have any good idea for this case ?

Thanks in advance !

Which dynamic VIs did you include?
On your dev PC the VI for excel 2002 are available. To build a 2000 executable you need to include the VIs for office 2000, these are located on the CD.

But I must warn you, I have never succeeded in what you want. I just installed excel 2000 instead of 2002 on my dev PC.

I assume this is the file on your disk (in vi.lib\addons\_office)

You should try to include the files from the CD (compatibility\Office XP\vi.lib\addons\_office\_exclsub.llb)

Be aware that you don't change these VIs

I have not CD on hand .

Thanks !

Me neither, and I don't think it's allowed.

Sorry,
