run-time application with USB-6009,Error 1073807346 VISA

I created a run-time application for my USB-6009 DAQ. When I run the application I receive and "Error 1073807345 VISA: (Hex 0xBfff000E) The given session or object reference is invalid"

This application works fine as a VI.

My NI-VISA is a revision 3.2.

Any help would be appreciated.

When building an executable or shared object project using NI-DAQmx Base VIs and using the NI 6009, the VI must be set so that its front panel is not removed. This can be done by following the steps below:

Click Tools » Build Application or Shared Library (DLL)...
Select the VI Settings tab
Highlight the row for the USB-92xx Bulk Reader.vi
Click Edit Build Settings...
Change the Target Setting to no for Remove Panel and click Change
Click Done
Build the VI

This should fix your error. Good luck with the rest of your application.

I saw the exact same message with a run time application we built for the USB 6008. The solution fixed our bug also.

Regards.

Hi

I also had this problem with my analog-in task on the 6008.
I managed to use a signle digital in without this fix though but when I used your instructions even the analog worked fine. Cheers
