Hi, I am beginner of Labview. I have Robotic stater kit in my college, i want to know how to encode and decode signal in labview.

You need to be a little more specific.

What kind of signal?

What kind of encoding?

Thanks for reply, Its about manual control robot. For action such as move robot forward,right or left.

I am trying to devlope stair climbing robot manual control.

Can anyone show me how to read sensor reading and control motor of robot.

It is possible to interface any type of motor and sensor to sbRIO_9632 kit or

those mentioned in LabVIEW robotic 2010 (i.e foe ex.Dynamixel motor, sharp IR GP2D12 sensor ).

Hi..

I am developing Stair Climbing Robot using LabVIEW Robotic Starter Kit.

I have LabVIEW 2010 installed on my PC.

I am using NI sbRIO-9631 embedded control and acquisition device.

As I am doing manual control robot I am facing problem in encoding signal for action such as forward, left, right motion.

Weather I use encoder IC & decoder IC and RF transmitter/ receiver IC for this.

Or direct communication system is available using joystic as interface device.

I want to interface motor, sensors and camera for my project work.

Please send me some example showing how to open, read,set and close VI for motor, sensor and camera.
