robot control with LABVIEW (serial port)

Hi ;


I have a project which is about robust control of double rotors system,


in project i have to use RS 232 and labview


firstly i ll measure robots angles


after i ll measure its speed and i ll find the location of robot


i ll send data via LabvieW to electronic card every 100ms and i ll read these datas solution 


i ll send data from reading once more, i ll read data.....


but i dont know how can i do it, i ve started to learn Labview 5days ago.


so where should i start,


Daq / VISA ?

LabVIEW comes with RS232 examples.
