removing offsets

Hallo,

I have two arrays showing almost the same curve. At the left side it has a very dominant valley. I want to cut out the following part of the arrays:

[peakpos-40 , peakpos+40]

My problem is that the peakpos is not a whole number, e.g. 49,3 or 127,7. Since I want to overlap the two curves, I have a roblem because I cannot use a index 49,3. Can anybody help me?

Arno

Instead of "index array", use "interpolate 1D array". You'll get the linearly interpolated value for each fractional index.
