Hi Mary,

Thanks for the post and I hope your well today. I wanted to offer you some support as I noticed you've still not received any support.

Are you using a hub or router or switch?

If your using a router, please take a look at the following KnowledgeBase article which lists all the steps you can take.

Connecting to a Remote Front Panel that is Hosted Behind a Remote Router:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B1E9A3D78BAED949862573AD0065D4D2?OpenDocument

Otherwise, could you please detail more of the error you are seeing.

Kind Regards, and I hope this helps.

James.

Kind Regards

If works on the same subnet but does not on another I'd suggest checking the subnet mask on the two machines. Normally, machine only talk to others on the same subnet so the standard subnet mask is;

255.255.255.000

Which tles the hardware to only watch for messages where the the first three fields are the same (subnet mask says only look if the addresse of the two machine are the same bit-wise).

If the first two address fileds are the same then try a subnet mask of;

255.255.0.0

That will still force a match of the first two field in the address but allows the subnets to be different.

Just trying to help,

Mary_wind,

         Ben's suggestion is a sound one. I would also double check that the firewall and anti-virus software is turned off or set to allow access (this is a major cause of Remote Front Panels not working). I would also check out this DevZone article (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3277#toc4) in the section about security issues the make sure that all the Web Server options (Tools>>Options>>Web Server: ) are all turned on correctly. Please keep us up to date on your progress. Thanks!!

I done all that you said me.... I'll attemp to explain more.

I have two class: 1st with computer where I  start up the LABVIEW application. On this computer I open all IP for other classes. I turn off firewall and antivirus. Then I publish my page with name Sin.html. In 1st class (on another computer) I open browser and write in address bar IP of computer and "/" then name "Sin.html"- the application started without problem. But if I do it in 2nd class (there is no LABVIEW only LVRTE86f1std) I can see only See attachment. Between classes situated server with DHCP.

Mary_Wind-

                I assume that you are still having issues accessing your Remote Front Panels from different subnets. Unfortunately, this is expected behavior but we can hard code IP addresses that are allowed to access the VI. Here is a link explaining RFP more (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3277#toc4). Basically, go to Tools>>Options>>Web Server: Browser Access and add the IP addresses that are on the other subnet to allow them access to your VI. Not being to access your VI on another subnet is a functionality of your IT service and you should contact them to see if they can open up the subnets to each other. Anyways, this is a work around until that happens. Happy Wiring!!
