Hallo all.
I have LV 7.1.1
I have two web-cameras which are connected to USB1 & USB2.
How can I see two images from two web-cameras or more in LV at the same time?
With respect
Aleksandr

There is a driver available that will allow for USB camera
communication. It is called NI-IMAQ for USB cameras, and I have a
link to the driver attached. Before downloading the driver, I
would highly recommend that you read through all of the instructions
shown on the page very carefully since it lists all of the software and
hardware requirements for use of this driver.

Hello Mike Torba!

But I wont see the image from two cameras at the same time.
I try did this. But I received error.
The LV7.1.1do allow to see the image from two cameras at the same time?
Best regards
Aleksandr.
It appears that simultaneous acquisition with two
USB cameras is not supported by the IMAQ for USB driver according to
the top of page 6 in the IMAQ for USB user manual. I apologize for this inconvenience.
This same question was asked in another forum that may have some things for you to try. Check it out:
The IMAQ for USB driver communicates to the 3rd party camera driver using Directshow. There is an IMAQ USB Property Page VI available in LabVIEW that gives you the ability to open the camera configuration page of the 3rd party camera provided that there is one available. Depending on the vendor, you may or may not have access to change the resolution of your camera through this property page. I would contact the manufacturer of the camera to find out if there is a way to do this.
In case you are curious to know where to find the IMAQ USB Property Page VI, right-click on the block diagram and go to Search in the upper right corner of the palette. Search for "IMAQ USB Property Page" and the corresponding VI will show up in the list below it.
