read Excel with LabVIEW 8.2

How can I read data from Excel to plot in LabVIEW 8.2? I tried "read measurement" as I used to do in LabVIEW 7.1, but it won't allow me.

Did you try Read From Spreadsheet File.vi  ?

Yes , but is not reading.

This progam used to work with LabVIEW 7.1. What coud be wrong?

Post your code - a stripped down version if you can, and the file you're trying to read.  This could be a lot of things.

Another thing is that the read from spreadsheet file was upgraded to be polymorphic in 8.2, so maybe you were picking the wrong data type?
