radio button dialog

I dont know, but maybe this is quite easy to do, but i want a dialog when user starts a program and user have to select between:
Pressure,distance travelled and elapsed time.
So only one is possible and then there is box for the value.
Of course, i want to use selected type and value later.

Depending on what verison of LabVIEW you are using you are in luck. LabVIEW 7.1 ships with a radio button control and some shipping example.

Take a look at the Radio Buttons Control.vi example, which uses the selection to change the front panel color. Yours would be the same and you could pass the radio button value out of your VI to the other VIs. To make the VI act like a dialog simmply change the VI Properties>>Window Appearence to Dialog.

i am using 7.0 ... i know there is 2 and 3 button dialog, but if it is not possible, i can use "prompt user for input" , i just leave other values to zero then i make compare.

A type of radio button exists in versions older than 7.1. If you start the Example Finder and do a search for radio, you'll find a couple of different ways. Also, in examples\general\booleans.llb, you'll find some custom controls (2 Radio Buttons, 3 Radio Buttons), etc) that you can use. These custom controls are really slide controls with text labels and different graphics. Just like LabVIEW 7.1, they enable you to use a radio button control with having to write any code to implement.

You could definetly use the 3 button dialog. It may just depend on the look you want.
