problem with update string

Hi

I'm using a string in a cluster.I want the value of the string to be passed to another control when i press the enter button.

The problem is when i press the enter button an empty string is passed to the other control.I tried to use the update while typing property but when i use that my string doesnt show any value entered.

Thanks for ur reply..Actually i have found the problem..My control was corrupted.As i replaced my cluster there seemed to be no problem..Anyways thanks again..
