problem in reading alarm from a shared variable

Hi all
I'm student and i have a graduation project  in a simple scada system . i dont have much experience in dsc labview8 .
i start doing a simple project  but it doesnot read the value of the shared variable and alarm.

i have attached the project.
so can you help me and tell me why it does not read??

Before I look at any possible debugging for this issue, I wanted to narrow down the problem. Answers to the following questions will help me find answers for you:

1. What is the unexpected behavior that you are seeing with the shared variables? Is it that the value is not getting updated or is the application throwing an error?
2. What kind of I/O server are you using and what are the variables bound to?
3. Is the value of the variables getting updated in the shared variable monitor?

Also if you are not that familiar with LabVIEW DSC, I would recommend you to look at the NI Devzone Article on using DSC module. It will provide you thr basic information that you need to get started on your application.
