printing data

i have wrote a program that works like Cardiograph it shows the amount of
voltage on a electrical motor ,now i can save my data in a file and fetch them
frome file but I could not print this data either in graphical (chart/graph)mode or numeric
I have download some examples but they didn't work some of them try to print
front panel and some of them ask for a "new vi name "
please guide me and say what is "vi name" that every report generation via s ask
for it . thanks alot.

Do you have Report Generation Toolkit for MS Office? This toolkit allows you to create Word and Excel reports in addition with standard and HTML reports. Without the toolkit you can only create standard and HTML reports. The standard reports can be printed, but not saved, and HTML reports can be saved but not printed.
So, if you are creating the HTML report with your VI, you will not be able to print it.
To print a standard report, you can just use the Print Report.vi. It only needs the report reference as the input.
The examples that you saw on the web, probably use the VI server and one of the Print invoke methods for the VI. They will only print the VI itself, or some of its parts, but will not print the file with your data.
