plug and play event of gige camera

Hi All,

I am using a Gige camera and want to capture the camera plug and play event, called Camera Attached and Camera Detached. I register the these two event. Here are two questions:


1  in event structure, for these two events, the specifiers are same: <Session Out>:PnP.  Is it right?

2  from my testing, only camera unplug triggers the right event.  How to capture the camera plug in event?

Hi Anne,
how do you register these events? Maybe you can generate a use event.

I use "Register for Events" to dynamically register those two event.  Steps:

1 open camera, configure acquisition.
2 wire the session out to the event source of "Register for Events". You will see there are two events available: frame done, plug and play


From my experience, the frame done event works OK. I have problem with the second one.
