Actually i want to take the digital 16bit data from the PCI card NI DAQ 6534 and then want to plot the spectrum of that data.

so i have install the labview from the NI evaluation 2010 DVD. I have just install the drivers given in that DVD. so to use the PCI card should i install other drivers???

Hi Bhoomi,

If you installed the necessary drivers off the evaluation CD then no more are needed.

Open up your Measurement & Automation Explorer program (MAX) and check to see that your card is being detected by looking for it under the 'Devices and interfaces' branch.

Once it is seen in this that card is ready to use in LabVIEW. To try it out open up an example VI, (Help tab > Find examples...) find an example compatible with your card and try it out.

Hope this helps!
