pattern generation in labview 8.2

Hi

i have a problem  in continuous data acquisition using labview 8.2.

Earlier i have made a code to acquire contiuous data using PCI DIO 32 HS card in patteren generation mode. As i have updated to labview 8.2 and NIDAQmx 8.3.1, i m having some problems,

 i am not able to define the mode of the data acquisition  in labview 8.2. i want to acquire continuous data using pattern generation mode as i want to duplicate my previous code on to labview 8.2.  i am giving clock source at REQ1 pin of the dio 32 hs card and setting the source terminal to PFi2 ,BUT NOT ABLE TO GET ANY OUTPUT.
please help...

Vivek.

Are you getting some kind of error when you are trying to read on your PFI pin?  If you are, could you please give an error code or just more details on that error?  It would also help a lot if you could just post your code.  Also, are you using some kind of external clock?
