opc servers

Hi, i'm having trouble connectiing my NI opc servers to my omron cs1 PLC using fins ethernet. Has anyone done this before?? you got any pointers??

Hi friend,

Creat channel in opc server.

then select your plc from the list.

set the parameter as given below.

Name: Channel1
Device Driver: Omron FINS Ethernet
Diagnostics: Disabled

Network Adapter:
Default

Write Optimization:
Write only latest value for all tags
10 writes per read

Port Number: 8000

Then Creat Device into the chennel. To view your data on opc. click on opc client ( hammer symbol in tool bar)

Hi, done that still no comms, can only think the PLC settings are wrong or the fins comms is set up incorrectly.
