omicron refnum

I have a Omicron CMC 256+ and the drivers installed for labview. Im trying to create a vi that will allow me to communicate with the Omicron, however I dont understand how to use refnum . Can someone help me with this please.

Those drivers were written by Omicron, not NI, so you'd need to confirm this with them. My guess is that you need to select the ActiveX class once you install their Test Universe Tool, which is required to use those drivers.

There is also a new LabVIEW PnP driver for CMC 256+ which wraps OMICRON's CM Engine.

Hi, unfortunately this address is not providing the drivers. Although the page is up but it says "ni.com is currently experiencing unexpected issues. Some services may be unavailable at this time."

 

any idea how to download the drivers?

Also, you'll need to have a valid CM Engine licence for your CMC device in order to use the drivers. You can check this in Omicron License Manager.

One last thing, you can find the CM Engine reference manual here "C:\Program Files (x86)\OMICRON\Test Universe\Doc\CMEngine.pdf" (at least with Test Universe 5.0) if you need low level control.
