obtain nofifier function not on pallet

I am using LabVIEW 7.1. I want to use the obtain notifier function in the pass data with notifiers.vi example, but it is not on my function pallet. Where is it?

In my LV 7.1, it is located in Functions - Advanced - Synchronization - Notifier Operations - Obtain Notifier.

I have notifier functions, but they are from LabVIEW 6i. Do you know how to get the newest version?

They should have been automatically installed in the right location when you upgraded to Labview 7.1. Maybe you need to re-install Labview 7.1. Maybe they only come with a full development version, I am not sure. I would call NI support.
