niDC Power ..... .vi

Solved!

I have downloaded the new photovoltaic analysis toolkit and when I open it it fails to find anything to do with the the "niDCpower ..... .vi".

The dots in that are for any file starting with the phrase, it starts with "niDCpower close.vi" and moves on.

Any help would be great, I'm very new to lab view as have only just started my phd and never used it before.

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon,

Hope you are doing well today!

I understand that the toolkit you are trying to run could not locate the required NI-DCPower VIs even if you've already installed the drivers. To enable me helping you further, would you give me the following information please:

  • Without trying to run the VIs from the toolkit, are you able to find the NI-DCPower VIs in Functions Palette - Instrument I/O - Instr Drivers - NI-DCPower Palette? See the attachment below for the screenshot. Have you also tried the Search to locate it?
  • What operating system did you use and what version of NI-DCPower drivers did you download and install? The latest version is 1.2.2 and can be found here.

Please let me know how it goes,

Thanks,

Best regards,

Hi Mark,

After spending most of yeasterday arguing with it I realised I did indeed have the wrong version. I have installed 1.2.2 and it loads up ok now. Sorry for not posting that on here (it landed up being a very long day).

Anyway, once I get this toolkit to talk to our Keithley SourceMeter all should be fine.

Thanks very much

Simon
