move the web page scrollbar

There must be a way to to load, display and scroll to the bottom of a web page/.html document. I am generating ouput data using labView reports, and I want to show the lastest one on demand, programatically scrolling to the bottom of the document. I would settle for an easy way to get the text from the page, as I could then put it in a plain text box. I know how to scroll down on that. I am a newbie w/ activeX, and learned all I know from this forum. Thanks for putting any examples in version 6.i. Please don't assume I know where to get activeX components etc.

your globals aren't included, and I'm not sure if this will help or not. Can you use javascript to do what you want? If so, put in your section




and then replace the first tag with



of course you will want to change the 8 to something else - you can make it a large number and it will scroll to the end

Thanks Paul, that does help. I'll do that if I don't figure out how to do it directly. Anyone have additional ideas?
