Solved!

hi,

how can i minimize/disable the labview getting started screen?

when i  close a vi, the getting started screen appears in the center of the screen maximized by default and i allways have to minimize it to see the desktop and double click an other vi.

is there any way to minimize it by default?

See this knowledgebase entry. The title states for Mac, but the .ini entry works for PCs too...

Can I Disable the LabVIEW Getting Started Window On A Macintosh?

showNoNavDialog=True

Now is the right time to use %^<%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S%3uZ>T

I'm not sure why it doesn't work. I just tried it in LabVIEW 8.6 and it works fine:

[LabVIEW]
showNoNavDialog=True
defaultConPane=4815
IsFirstLaunch=False
returnKeyAction=True
requireAutoTool=False
maxUndoSteps=16
postScriptLevel2=False
FancyFPTerms=False
defaultErrorHandlingForNewVIs=False
EnableAutomaticErrorHandling=False

Now is the right time to use %^<%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S%3uZ>T
