menu ring with variable values and labels

I have a question about using a menu ring with variable “values” and variable “labels”. When I load a “value” combined with a “label” into the menu ring, the first thing I see, in the menu ring, is the “value” number instead of the label. Is it possible to see the first “label” instead of the first “value”.

I attached a simple example of my problem, when you run this example the “value” is visible instead of the label.
