Solved!

Hi. I am new to labview and i have been trying to run a VI on labview and i am getting errors on the window panel. It mentions that Mathscript RT module license is invalid or missing. I went to package manager to download the module listed under labview 2020. When i use my school serial numbers to activate it, it doesnt show on the list of packages installed. What do i do if i want my labview code to use mathscript nodes?

Hi marida,

ask your teacher/school admin to provide you with the correct version of all needed LabVIEW modules...

After all you want to use their software license!

Best regards,
GerdW

Perhaps you could help me again, I am trying to redo some labs from the physical layer exploration: Digital communications but it seems some of the VI's are locked. I went and tried to find the package they belong by capturing dependencies but most of them LabVIEW cannot recognise which package they belong to.i have attached some snips below.

Hi marida,

all those "gvi" items belong to LabVIEW NXG, the latest incarnation of LabVIEW.

Until now I was guessing you are using the "classic" LabVIEW version (without "NXG")!?

Best regards,
GerdW
