labview debugging

I am trying to debug a labview vi someone else has written. This program automatically starts when opened, there is no stop button within the program and the stop button on the tool bar has been hidden. How do I abort this stupid thing and leave the vi up so I can access the block diagram?

Create a blank vi. In the block diagram, put the rogue vi that you are wanting to investigate (Functions palatte - Select a vi). You should be able to double click on the icon without it running.

Use the attached vi, that is able to stop any running vi.
