labview computer corrupted

hi
I had installed labview on a computer in 2003. The computer works on Windows NT2000, but it is creating problems. I am afraid that although labview software is working perfectly, due to my computer operating system malfunction, i may not be able to use labview. If i copy all the contents from that computer from the location  C:/Program Files/National Instruments (where all the installation files for labview are located)   to my new laptop which works on Windows Vista, can i run labview application from my new laptop?
 Thanks

You really need to do an install and not a copy. There are just too many other files in other locations. You would spend too much time tracking down all of the support files.

Also, you don't mention which version of LabVIEW you have but Vista was not officially supported until LabVIEW 8.2.1. running the complete installation with an older version might work but it might not. If you install any hardware drivers, you must get versions that are Vista compatible.
