interrupt timer driven

Hello folks,
i am working on a project with labview 7.0. two weeks before i started
to make my project in labview. so i am not a very good programmer in
that.
So please help me!!!

I have a wasco dio card with three 16bit timers. and a lot of i/o's.
the program i am writing has top grab exact every two second the value
from the com port. one timer is used to controll a stepper motor. the
frequency is gerated by dividing the clock frequency with one 16bit
timer. the two timers are to generat the interrupt every 2 second.
the timing is no problem. the frequency is generated for the motor and
also the interrupt puls is ok. two timer are used for the interrupt
and i have one the card one interrupt channel.

But how can i programm the interrupt? I know
i need something like
phcallback, hcallback and proutine. but i have no idea how to create
this thing.

Please help me!!!!

Here are my system:
Windows 98 Se
Labview 7.0
Wasco Dio PCI 12 Lap, IO card

thanks a lot

Hello Kai,

Unfortunately we arent able to support other manufacturers data acquisition cards. Interfacing to an interrupt on your Wasco card really depends on the driver and programming interface that was created by the cards manufacturer. National Instrument's data acquisition cards include a driver called NI-DAQ which installs the card drivers, VIs to interface to the card from LabVIEW, and example programs to do many common measurement tasks.

I can give you a general idea of how to access your DIO card. First you would need to install drivers and any development tools that are included with the card. Next you would need to determine from the manufacturers documentation how to access the interrupt. After that you can either call VIs directly (if the VI
s were provided by a manufacturer), or you can make calls to a DLL (which would also need to be supplied by the manufacturer). The DLL functions can be called by using a Call Library Function Node. This VI is located on your Function Palette at the following location: All Functions > Advanced.

If you need any other help or clarification, please let me know. Have a great day!
