instrument drivers shown

Good Day to you,

Currentl I am installing driver to be used by labview for coding pruposes. How can these drivers be shown on the functions pallete so that they can be easily accessed when working on a block diagram.

Hey FredTest,
      You can add instrument driver VIs into the functions palette by placing the folder containing these VIs into the instr.lib directory.  This directory is located in the LabVIEW folder.  For example, on my system, this folder is:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\instr.lib
    Once placed in there, it will show up under the Instrument I/O, Instr Drivers subpalette.

I tried doing that yesterday with no success, but today that I power my PC, they magically appeared. Very funny! Do you thnk this is necessary?

You should not have to shut down your pc. Simply re-starting LabVIEW is enough for it to update the palette views.
