Now I have added the Library. I can see modbus. Here is where I am and stuck. I have connected the TEC-9100 to PC using RS232 connecting to RS485 adapter.

Wait, I don't understand what you did here. You cannot directly connect RS-232 to RS-485. The electrical signals aren't the same. One's differential, the other is not.

I am confused now what to write so the LabVIEW can communicate with this device. I was trying to use VISA Open, Write, Read and Close. I guess I am in the wrong way.

For Modbus you would not use VISA, and I don't understand what prompted you to go there. You would use the VIs in the Modbus library.

Hello fellow LabVIEW user,

I know it has been over five years since your post pertaining to the TEC-9100 labview question, but I can see that you finally figured it out. I was wondering if you'd be willing to share your findings with me as I am working to create a labVIEW program in order to control my TEC-9100 Temperature Controller.

Any help would be great!!

Thank you.
