I am building an Installer file for a project which includes LV-RT 2009. The installer installs the software on another laptop, however running the program gives the errot that "This application fails to start because FTD2XX.dll was not found. Reinstall....". I wonder what is the issue here?
Well, since the dll is missing, you should install it. It is NOT part of the LabVIEW distribution. It is used by many devices with the FTDI USB chip set. Your program must be calling it someplace.
YOu can communicate using FTDI in two ways. You can install the VCP drivers provided and use visa functions in labview or use this dll and communicate using the library functions provided by ftdi. You can download this dll from thier website direcly.
