installer build giving error code -12

so, it is a problem of how you configure the installer or configuration of LabVIEW.

Can you post that simple project to have a look at it?

I don't even come to the configuration. I only choose new installer and then the error pops up. I attached the project.

Hi Grega,

I manage to build an installer with the project you've attached.

I am reattaching it with the Build specification already defined, try one more time just to right click and build, if it still fails, for sure it is a problem with Application Builder. The best would be to reinstall it.

What version of LabVIEW are you using? 2012? Proffessional? Full Development??

It looks like it is a problem with the app builder, since I don't even get to the configuration dialog upon choosing new installer.

You could reinstall the Application Builder, and it should solve the problem.

Hmmm, I tried reinstalling the app builder by inserting the CDs with labview, but I didn't find app builder to install or reinstall.

Is it maybe inside of some other feature?
