image from compressed string

Hi 

Every body.

I have a small issue. i am compressing am image file using flatten to string. when  i retrieve the image using unflatten to string it works but if i first save the compressed string to a text file and then read it and then unflatten it i dont get the correct image. can any one help its getting bigger on me.

I can't open your VI now but I will wager from experience that you have the Convert EOL option selected when reading and writing the file.  I usually use read and write binary file for this, but you can right click and deselect convert EOL.
