im-/exporting data types

Hi ng,

i'm trying to export a large cluster to a XML string which is going to be
saved afterwards. Another VI should be able to import the XML and to
reconstruct the cluster - but where to get the exact data type? The
"unflatten from XML" function needs this information.

Any suggestions?

In the diagram of the VI that has the cluster, right click and select Create>Constant. Cut the constant from this diagram and paste it onto the diagram with the Unflatten from XML. Wire the constant to the function.
