Thanks for the reply, Altenbach.  Yes, I saw it was an old post, so that's part of my surprise that the Context Help problem still exists in LV2010 which I use now (forgot to mention the version in my previous post).  I'll look into making an entry in the Idea Exchange.  I wanted to at least add my message to this thread as a sort of "keep-alive" message.

I think I can make a convoluted arguement for keeping it the way it is.

The name is used when doing a invoke node set value. Change the name the code using it will break.

If we wanted to develop code with developers using more than one language, the captions can be translated on a bulk basis.

So the only part the control that can be changed (to work in more than one langauge) and not break things is the caption.
