how to solve labview 8.2 auto shutdown

OS:SUSE 10.1

LV:labview 8.2

VISA:visa 4.0

I had installed labview 8.2 and visa 4.0,but when i use serial,the labview will auto shut without any error prompt,i don't know what happen.how to solve this issue ? thank you!

Hi,

I don't use this OS but I think that more information could help someone in the forum find a solution for you. So:

1) Have you tried running in highlight execution ? Where exactally does the vi stop?

2) Does the problem occur for every vi containing VISA? You could try running an example (Basic Serial Write and Read.vi) instead of a final application.

3) Do you have on another pc to try running your program on it?
