how load a control wyhich indicates an error

I use a vi with a control with a PC under Windows NT. I tried to use it in an another PC under Windows 98. Labview couldn't load the control any more.
I tried to unistall Labview 6.1 and install, it didn't change anything. Any ideas? Please.

What is the control? What kind of error message do you get? Can attach the file?

Also, posting the same question as different users is counter-productive and somewhat irritating.
