how do you scale data to output to a daq

I am trying to output a waveform to a DAQ card, but am uncertian on how to convert the data to the necessary format (scaled data?). I am including a fragment. The data that goes to the chart is the same data that I want to place into a circular-buffered analog output application.

If you go into MAX and define a virtual channel and set the approriate scales,

You should be able to write your values to the virtual channel and let MAX do the conversion for you.
