histogram

How can i create a circular histogram. Has anyone ever created one?

If not..

Can anyone guide me in generating one.

Hints:

I thinking of modifying the polar plot, instead of degrees, time?

Is it a good idea?

Maybe an activex control. Do you want the bar chart type or just lines extending out from the center point?? How many datapoints around the circle??

I am trying to modify the polar plot picture.

That is the form of graph that i want. A circular histogram. With each "angle" being time and the radius of each point being the distance

Attached is a pix of what i am trying to achieve.

What this graph is going to do is track laser beam stability. I want to see much much the laser beam wanders of from its original point. I will use time as the angle and the distance as the radius.

Will a polar picture plot work?

I am trying to modify it with noe end result.

There is a polar plot example that ships with LV7, have you looked at that yet?

Another suggestion. Maybe the Radar Plot Demo.vi in the examples. You could use that as your start point.
