hide when labview is not active ... can't have it back (8.5 Mac) !!

the option to hide window when labview is not active cause problem
the VI front panel do disappear when the application (same on development or on a built application) is not the frontmost
but it is impossible to have it back when you click on this application icon (in the dock)
the menu is there, but not the front panel
this is really annoying

any idea to of how have it back ?
(tested on PPC and Intel)

Hi be,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.  I am trying to recreate your issue on this end, but I have not had any problems.  Here is what I have done:

1. Open up a blank VI
2. Click on a background program, which moves LabVIEW back.
3. On the dock, right click LabVIEW, and choose Hide (which hides the window)
4. On the dock, right click LabVIEW, and choose Show, which then brings the front panel and block diagram back up.

Could you provide me with steps to recreate the error?  Also, what version of Mac OSX are you using?  I did the above steps using 10.5 (Leopard).

stephen Mercer from NI gave me the (sad) respons :
this is a known bug on Mac platform
CAR 4FP9E4J1 has been filed. This bug will be addressed in a future
version of LabVIEW.
