hello

I want to do a kind of a long term measurement( current and voltage)using a MOSFET,  it might be for hours or a day, Can I do such measurement with my NI Elvis II+.

what should I check before lunching my measurement ?

I did some quick tests and I noticed that my Elvis.started  to warm up.

thank you

Probably. That is, I do think it is possible.

Your code.

Well, if you use it within spec, it should stay within spec. If it doesn't, it's broken or the spec is wrong.

MOSFETs support high currents, make sure the Elvis supports them too.

'Warm up' could be normal, even expected.

Pull the plug if smoke comes out.

"spec"  means "specification".
