goop issues

Hello:
I am currently using the GOOP wizard in Labview 6i and I've
written a lot of code with it. I need to do some code sharing with
other people with LABVIEW 6.1. I am just wondering if I can run the
same goop wizard, and use the same code i've written using LABVIEW 6i
in LABVIEW 6.1 because they have the newer version, any special
procedure stuff I need to look for? I really don't want to rewrite all
the code since it has took me 0.5 years to develop.

Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,

I am game.
I was tasked with mastering GOOP yesterday.

I do not know GOOP. I took a look at it about 3-4 years ago and dropped it because PC's where just not fast enough to do the GOOP thing and keep up with the app's I had to write.

Time has passed and machines are now faster. I am going to get myself up to speed on GOOP.

Peter,
Yes, you can use your code in LabVIEW 6.1, you just need to mass compile.
There is no version of the GOOP VIs specifically designed for LabVIEW 6.1. You simply need to copy the GOOP LLBs into the proper directories in LV 6.1, and mass compile the LLBs. Mass compiling will convert all VIs to the newest version.
