get .doc report generation working in build, does work in LV

Just a couple of things you could try:

You use the path method in two places, I hope you have corrected them both.

Try using a path constant instead of deriving a path just to be sure (for debugging purposes).

Create a very simple report generator as a separate project and try building it, also post it if you can.

I can do simple report generation, there seems to go something wrong at opening a excisting word document.

When you are building the application, make sure you add all the support files you added to always included as below:

Also make sure that these files go to the support directory and not part of the application itself, as below:

A colleague made an change for me and now it is working:

See screenshot how he modified NI_report.lvclass, now the error is gone and everything is working fine
